Terrorism - An evil to be extricated !

In most of the countries, terrorism seems to raise its ugly head far too frequently these days. Earlier it used to be bombs and grenades launched from a distance, but the terror attack in India in November last year was the most daring and it sent a shiver down the spine because we could actually see the faces of terror. Ten men brought the entire country to a standstill and went on a killing spree. Yet for 3 days we couldn’t do a thing about it. It speaks volumes about the security situation in the world and tells us how endangered our lives are.

The question is what made these men carry out a task like this even though they fully knew that they will be killed eventually. Indeed only one terrorist was caught alive while the rest were shot dead. All of them were young men perfectly trained to kill without remorse. Is it the poverty and the economic situations in the countries around the world which makes people to engage in terrorism related activities? The answer is an emphatic yes, because most of the captured terrorists admit that they did this because the terrorist troops promised to give money to their poor family.  People who investigated Kasab( one of the terrorists caught in the attack against India)said that he was a smart young man and he spoke perfect English. It is  very clear that unless the economic and social situations in under developed countries improve, many young men like Kasab will be exploited and fall prey to the evils of terrorism.

We should never make ERROR in restricting TERROR ever!!!
