Yes. You read the topic right. You have to learn to say “NO”.We always want to please others and in the process we accept everything which is imposed on us. We don’t want others to think that we are incapable of doing some work. That is why we accept everything with a nod even though we know it is hard. At the end of the day we will not be able to finish the work (which we gracefully accept) efficiently (that is obvious!!). What we have done was we wasted a day trying hard to execute something which was beyond reality. Had we said “NO” at the moment we were overloaded, the work which was supposed to be imposed on us, would have been completed efficiently by some other person inthe same day. Also we could have done our work effectively as well. We can never satisfy our Boss by accepting everything he gives but doing nothing perfectly. Rather accept only the things which you think you can do effectively and perfectly. Your Boss will be automatically satisfied. But believe me - you should be courageous to say “NO”. By saying NO you are assuring someone that you can do the other work more effectively. So, you should be really confident in doing the accepted assignment efficiently.

               I am not asking you to say NO to everything. Work Satisfaction is more important. We have to love the work which we do. Whatever it might be, we will never love our work if we overload ourselves. So let us try this new method of “NO MAGIC”. Who knows it might be the magic you were searching for!!

              So, next time if your Boss gives you a Million, you will say “Don’t overload me Buddy, Give me half”. Isn’t it???!!
