College Farewell – for whose welfare? Is it for persons who believe in sentiments? It is a show where everyone performs well (exceptions – please forgive me!). People who confess in front of the gathering are considered heroes and others who remain casual are termed cruel here. Everyone has an intention to justify them at least at the last minute. Many promise that they will never forget and will contact often. But they don’t even say a ‘Hi’ the next day.

People who like to contact surely will and who does not will never. Isn’t that right ? You can witness false praises, creamy words, fake apologies in this divine eve. But there will also be some real tears from true hearts which is worthy to be mentioned.

How many of us have really felt happy in a college farewell that the next level in life is near? I felt so as I was given a green signal to live on my own. If a question is thrown at me “Why are you so cruel? My answer is “I am practical”. And the fact is

Practical persons are not cruel as they know every birth has a death and every relation has a separation.
