Yesterday was the big day for the Indian Space Research organization with the perfect launch of Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle C-14 (PSLV)  . The duration of the launch was within 20 minutes which then placed all the seven satellites in orbit including Oceansat - 2. The Director of the organization said that this launch will favour the fishing community of India.

         When watching live on television it was really like a cricket match with every second filled with excitement. Imagine the mentality of the scientists who have designed that? Every screw and nut in that rocket counts and even if anything fails the entire research would have been in vain. But this was a real success and I was able to visualize the joy of the moment in each and everyone's face.
